This microphone test online uses the browser's getUserMedia API to access your microphone and the Web Audio AnalyserNode to measure input levels and visualize the waveform in real time. Audio is processed entirely in your browser — nothing is recorded or transmitted. The volume percentage is calculated from the RMS of the audio signal, and the waveform canvas updates at up to 60 frames per second.
